Welcome to the 2nd Annual Bead Hoarders Blog Hop hosted by Lori Anderson.
I had great intentions for putting together lots of jewelry designs using my hoarded stash, but ran into an energy crisis.
I’ve been dealing with some health issues for the past two years; macrocytic anemia and now a bout of gastritis.
I’m still not certain what’s going on and now have a long wait to get an appointment with a specialist.
Meanwhile fatigue is my close friend these days.
I try my best to work around it, conserve enough energy to keep pace with daily demands,
and give myself permission to rest when needed.
On the up side, I have been able to watch tons of movies on Netflix.
And, a chronic condition does indeed teach one a lesson about priorities and simplification.
So, I had this load of beads that i wanted to manipulate into something swell, yet they remain piled on my work desk.
I did manage to make two simple designs and I really like how they turned out. Sweet and simple.
This one is a belated birthday gift for someone special. It features an awesome focal by Birgitta Lejonklou
And this necklace, a simple hammered silver hoop with a citrine gemstone focal bead and dangle.
